NOTICE
CONCERNING THE MOWING OF RIGHT-OF-WAYS FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAYING/BALING ALONG COUNTY ROADS IN OTTAWA COUNTY.

Mowing rights along County roads in Ottawa County for the purpose of Haying/Baling:
No person, firm, or corporation shall mow for the purpose of haying/baling any portion of the County Right-of-way without obtaining a written permit. The permit application shall be submitted to the appropriate Highway Administrator in forms provided by the Ottawa County Highway Department.
Haying permit applications will be accepted after January 1 for that years mowing season.
Adjacent landowners will be given permit authority until March 31, of given year.
After March 31, permits will be issued in order received.
Permit applicant will have until May 15, to apply.
There is no fee for a permit and the permit may be canceled at any time by either party, given 3 (three) days’ written notice.

As the Haying/Baling application.
There is $200.00 fine for haying/baling on any county Right-of-Way without the proper permit.
